KU band wild feed channel starter list

KU band wild feed channel starter list
For those of you contemplating compiling a wild feed channel list, here is a good start. Sixteen satellites with over 300 feed transponders and more than 100 wild feed channels.
Factory bins do not incorporate feed transponders. To obtain these you can blind scan for them and hope to catch the feeds when active. Or you can research the feed transponders and manually enter the frequency, symbol rate and polarity to the receiver. Both methods are extremely time consuming. Blind scan of the satellite will also generate active channels other than feeds that must be sorted through to find the desired channels.
My solution to the dilemma was to manually enter better than 90% of the feed transponders. Then delete all transponders not carrying feeds from my receiver. I use a dedicated receiver incorporating this list only. When I want to view active feeds I look for (CURRENT) to be displayed in the guide. However this is not always true, occasionally an active feed may display (NO INFORMATION). You can also save your current channel list to your computer, and alternate downloading your feeds or normal channel listing to your receiver, dependent on what your viewing needs are at the time.
This file as I stated is only a starter list, there are several other satellites carrying feeds that I have not listed. For those I have on file they may be missing some feed transponders as well. You will have to research these transponders at lyngsat and manually enter these if you desire a complete listing.
The advantage to having only feed transponders is that you can select all the satellites on the list and auto scan at one time, takes about 30 minutes when using this file. When your done you have added to your list of feed channels and nothing else.
Time allotted for editing I can not say this list is 100% accurate but is better than 98%.
Looking forward to seeing your list of wild feed channels grow!
