i lost all pakistani channel

i think u have to do rescan , channel may be in differend no,before i had a indian channel its also moved another channel no

a friend just called to enquire about loss of INTERNATIONAL CHANNELS..in the past hour?

constant display "SEARCHING SIGNAL" for the past hour...

see some other preceeding posts as well on the subject..any clue folks?

reports that channel # 611,624,613,614,617,618,619,624,716 1nd 718 also 584,585,586 apparently all asian channels ..

any input will be much appreciated...location here midwest region..channels suppposedly on 61.5w

I is said that the above channels on dn 118 have gone n3.....Still looking for confirmation though.

i just looked myself for those channels and they are in fact "SEARCHING SIGNAL" constantly nand BTW some additional channels that are on the same SAT eco7 119W / eco 3 61.5W are "SEARCHING SIGNAL"..

Beef you may be right tho..look fwd to your confirmation as you indicate and also any additional input will be much appreciated ..folks...thx..

I just found this, it may explain some things here.

22nd Feburary Is The Last Date When Dish Network Will Move All International Channels From ******** 3 (61.5 W), ******** 2(148 W) To Anik 3 (118.7). So Please Be Ready To Upgrade Your Hardware( Dish , Lnb And Switch ) Etc.

You will require at least a 30 inch or bigger dish to get 118.7.

33-inch Dish only [33-DISH] - $40.50*USD : Transat Electronics, Free-to-Air Satellite Receivers and Electronics


You will also require a special Circular LNB.

You should also know that the International channels are to be the first on DN to be switched to the new N3 encryption.

thx a bunch bud and look fwd to some addition input as THE EVENTS UNFOLD..but as it stands the channels indicated in earlier post are constant "SEARCHING SIGNAL"

yes you r right, this is just a story... i got all indian channels i.e.611,13,14 etc. but not pakistan channel i.e.620, 621 etc. if you guys have any info on these channels let everybody knows.

just finished some additional search and find that channels are being interrupted with the scheduled switch so stay tuned and there will be related info available as it becomes clear about the progress under way..

As of 8:30 PM today 01/28/2009 These channels are Black Out on Anik F3 118.
622 APUNJ ,623 JGUJ, 662 QTV, 663 MUSIK, 674 INDMU, 678 INDVI, 744 PTV, 745 GEOTV, 746 ARIDI, 747 ARYOW, 771 NORST, 795 SUN TV, 796 KTV, 799 GEMNI, 800 SURYA, 801 KAIRA, 802 TEJA, 803 UDAYA, 804 NTV, 805 RTV, 806 CHNL1, 807 TV9, 811 MAATV, 812 MH1, 818 ATN,902 GEONW, 903 AAGTV.

• have same problem on 118.8/119, some international channels not working.
  Any possible way to recover the missing channels?

• ARYone World (651) and some other channels have move from 61.5 and 148 to Anik 118 BUT Audio +Video is not there except Guide & info. That is not the ONLY channel. Some other channels (ETHNIC) have disappeared in last few days. Is it N3 conversion /begining?

• i confirme,some channels are gone from 61,5 and 118 lineup.and they no were to be found,after turning auto tp on and rescanning.indian channels are on auto roll like zee star .... why is that?
