Yeah I know.. I was somewhat shocked, but it does make sense since v2 hasn't been seen since that last IKS test a couple of weeks ago.

So here's the deal. v2 and another coder have been working on IKS, namely 4.28. This person released 4.28 (last bin they were working on) and told the Original Poster of v2's arrest.

What's the future of Neosat? Gloomy right now. But there's a silver lining. 4.28 has a LOT of BEV channels up so if this other coder decides to continue with IKS, well then it won't be that far away right?

Or, Option B, somebody else will step in with a working solution (hint hint EKS).

We'll just have to wait and see how this progresses... Man, this sucks.

It is only a matter of time before all IKS servers are shut down, that will be the next target after nag3 is fully operational,

Bev and dn are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on nag3, do people really think they are just going to sit back and let IKS servers do what they have just spent all this money on to prevent?

People who are jumping on the IKS bandwagon should really think twice about it,

Bad news indeed, but there comes an end for everything. let's see if we can bring an end to nag 3. hopefully this just fuels every ones fire, & makes them that much more determined to do what it is that they do so well. "COME ON CODERS". don't let them kick you while you are down, it makes it that much harder to "GET BACK UP".

The difference with this bust is that the coder is gone and not the server. So, we can only wait to see who will be taking over. Again, this is the perfect chance for Neosat to get drt back on Neosat with his EKS (which has been proven to work with N3).

This has a certain ring of bs to it,the main coder busted and new codes being released and the servers are still up and running. Seems like along time ago,the answer when you wanted out or request could not be fulfilled, the answer was to "get busted". This just sounds a little fishy to me,maybe I am just paranoid

I hate to see anybody get busted at all for personal freedom issues.

Personally, however, I made a poor choice by choosing the Neo iPro as my first fta stb in march of 2008. I was seduced by the 'best of both worlds' hype around this stb. I should have noticed that there were brands out with long track records of support. Furthermore, V2 has a history of badmouthing those who have worked with him. This should be a great box; and perhaps it might be. If the Neo could only blindscan it would kill in the tfta market.

Not only V2 that got busted but also a coder that codes for Viewsat, coolsat and captain. Been court documents posted on other sites. DN spending its money on prosecution these days.

Are you sure that was V2 because that was the amount of the fine they gave theBroken in his case which is posted in various parts of the web.
