ok guys now i have read that alot of you are not getting the channels and or no quality on nimi2 well here is why

if you go to lyngsat since they are changing around the fec and some modulation this is why so go to lyngsat here is the link

Nimiq 4 at 82.0°W - LyngSat

now read from the left to the right you will see the tp eg :
frequency 12253
symbol rate 21500
polarization ver R=VERTICAL AND L=HORIZONTAL
FEC 2/3
pilot off

modulation turbo 8psk

now youhave to go through the list of tp freq start on the left and tou will see the tp freq then move to the right and you will see SR-FEC
SID-VPID that will be your symbol and your fec enter them

now take a look to the right of that if you see 8psk you can change it to turbo 8psk they are changing some of them around so watch and test it out and by doing this you will get all your channels back and have quality again

hopefully this helps you i am doing a new one for the sv 8000 so i will post later but you can do it yourself not hard

just to let ya know i adjusted all 32 tp freq and now there is quality on all and the channels are back ..

well the one that are up on ihub working like a charm .. one tp is down being moved probably is tp 12253 but HD movie channels and all the super channels are back and working great ....

Thanks tomcat, can the same thing be done with 129w and 61.5w? Since they are hd? Or is it only for 82w?

well this was just for 82 as it has changed to some mpeg 4 ans now using 8 psk but i will go through the tp freq for 129 and 61.5 today sometime .. i can check and see if they need any updating .. later bud

Hi, I reset nimiq 2 82 w as you suggested to lyngsat settings and changed some of the setting to turbo 8psk and did not get any channels back or any quality readings specially TP12311 as shown in your pcs I get zero quality, any sugestions?
I'm in southern Maryland, USA and got all Bev High defs before N3.

this is for the ihub or iks machines as they get n3 if you do not have a box that does it you will not get anything .. but if you are waiting for a n3 fix even later if there is a cardless fix you will have to change these ..
