I'd like to see if the boxes are actually stable and offer a continuous and large variety of HD channels. They're worthless without the additional 3rd party support. Unless you are a big fan of ION.

If someone spends $500 a year on a new HD receiver, you're looking at $40 a month. DN offers a decent package for a little bit more and there is no freezing.

Right, I know, there will be PPV and those smutty adult channels - LOL. But watching SD PPV on a HDTV is worse than a root canal. LOL So painful to see the terrible pixelation.

Maybe one of the manufacturers will incorporate a media player that handles most video formats as well. That would catch my eye.

And yes - I know I know I know -- it's a hobby! "Get a sub as backup." LOL LOL

Anyway, very curious to see how these units perform

with all these new boxes coming out, i wonder if the MFG's know something we don't know regarding N3.

At any rate --- dual DVB-S2 tuners is fantastic for True FTA. If the price is reasonable, i just might have to get one of these!
