Neusat has merged with Neosat!!!
c/p
Neusat has merged w/neosat
Just to let everyone know
yes neusat has merged with neosat
all neosat products along with neusat products will remain the same at this time.
with the exception of the neusat lite, this is a copyright infringement issue that is currently being taken care of.
This has nothing to do with iks public release being delayed by a few days
stilll having a few small issues that have to be corrected, we are sorry for the delay and the inconvenience it has caused.
Neosat and neusat are certain that the merger will be in the best interest of all.
users of the neusat will be getting the much needed support, and neosat has aquired a very good line of units.
neosat and neusat are combining efforts to bring the best support possible on all units presently being manuf. for them.
thx

Re: Neusat has merged with Neosat!!!
also another note.some/and most likely most people do not know:
these models are NOT the same co. as neosat pro/ipro 2000 and are NOT supported by the v2neo group.but rather the same manufacturer of the nfusion.
Bluejay2
Satcruiser
Nfusion
Tessat
neosat ipro 1000
neosat lite
nuesat lite (they used the nuesat name with out permision, its a neosat lite)
thus the nick name for nfusion that you see going around "confusion"
lol
so look at these past models and how they are supported NOT by v2group but a whole different camp.
just to clear up all the "confuison" lol
.................................................. ..................................................
the neosat pro/ipro 2000 camp "v2group" now support these models:
neosat pro 2000 pvr system (same as ipro just no built in Ethernet port.for those who want the pvr unit but dont want iks,you can save the money.
but should you change your mind you can get an internet adapter to make it an ipro for iks)
neosat ipro 2000 pvr (iks/pvr system)
both units are the same.pvr with usb slot on the rear for updates and HDD.for pvr.
neusat 6000
neusat 6000 premium
neusat 9000 HD

Re: Neusat has merged with Neosat!!!
With DN and DTV going to MPEG4 as we speak, does this make the Neusat 9000 HD obsolete? Everything I read on the 9000 says it's MPEG2 with the exception of a couple of sites (that I think refer to old marketing slicks that were released prior to production). Also, as far as I know there is no slot/support for the DN HD adapter.

right.
will no longer be good other than for true hd fta that still use mpeg2
but its not exactly known when the full changeover will happen.

Re: Neusat has merged with Neosat!!!
The Neusat hasn't shipped. I emailed the seller. He has a Visionsat IV200 PVR that I'm trying to get him to let me swap it for. At least I can get support. I would feel a little better about Neusat if I could find a fix later that 11/07. I'm learning that support for the device is more important than the feature set. I appreciate your reply and respect your opinons. JL

yes,and i don't blame you for the concern.
it will take some time for v2group to start coding for the neusats.n further info is out yet regarding any time frame.its your choice.i can't advised a stb with no support right now.but i do feel confident v2group will get them going.so its best for me to stay neutral here.

Re: Neusat has merged with Neosat!!!
Seller agreed to the swap. Great review on the Visionsat on this site. I think I lucked out. I'll continue to watch Neusat. The price point and features were great but just not quite what (I discovered) I needed. If they did it once, they can do it again (in MPEG4 hopefully w/ DN capability). I'm sure things will smooth out after the merger is complete. Thanks again. JL
