Problem for viewsat user. - ABA DSS

OK, the VS Team has release yet another file for the Problem(pausing,delay fr. b3v to dn and etc.) issue. I'm sure we will see more files coming out tomorrow for this issue, So keep your eyes here and in the files section only, for your UNIT'S!

I have a quick question... I am new to all this and wondwering,,,,, I have viewsat and my codes are PFTAUSW..........pgm now the codes I see here are not like that for BEV can someone explain the difference and where I can get PFTAUSW program?

PFTAUSW IS THE UPDATE. That open the Dollar sign channels.

the PFTAUSW is just the name of the file for viewsat files.
all receivers from different brands have different file name.
codes as you put it which are called keys.. for bev and dishnet are the same for all receivers.

OK i thin k I am slowly getting it but where would I get these..... And what are the other files for viewsat that seem to be just a bunch of numbers I see on this site?

Here's some good advice. There is literally hundreds of stickies posted. If you started reading them everything you need to know is in there to get you going. You'll be amazed at what you can learn without having to ask a hundred questions that have been asked before. No one here minds helping anyone thats willing to help themselves.

those numbers are keys that change everyday . if you have a viewsat you can create a hex file and install them on your receiver instead of inputting them manually. i would suggest go into the Viewsat Help Section and read Posts from the members you will grasp the info more quickly reading good information on all aspects of the receiver.
