OK,this is as of right now Speculation,I had seen this posted by a very trusted member of the FTA world,and wanted to bring it to life for all our great membes just in case it does happen today or Tomorrow....

Now is the time for our Canadian friends to make sure they have a BACKUP.
It's looking like another new ECM will happen today.
Reported Map3b timing was being tested by b3v earlier in the week,actually 2 different map calls and 4 timer values, appear to be headed our way.The more calls and unknown timer values they throw into the mix, the more difficult it is for our coders to overcome.Brute forcing timer values may not be an option this time,but we won't know till they show us what they have planned.Once a map emu surfaces,and is fully functional,they'll have to get a lot more creative with thier ecm's.These pesky Map/Timer combo's won't cut it. Till then we may have a bumpy ride.

Be smart, plan ahead for downtime.Record a few shows,or checkout some other Sat's while this chess game continues.
One thing is certain.The game WILL continue.Competition for market share will fuel solutions, and can bet Coder teams will scramble once again to show us who has the muscle to stay in the game. A lot of units will Fall by the wayside over support issues, as providers step up thier game.Be prepared and stay tuned right here for all the latest breaking news and further updates.

mine is in and out on veiwsat plat lite... freezes for a bit then comes back for a few minutes then reapeats... are you guys the same??

there is no need for everyone to post that there down...if its going down its going down, does not matter what box you have or where you live gents. The only reason that an ecm was unaffective against a few boxes awhile back, was because those coders were ready and added the secondary provider. Just be patient and it will sort itself out...They just keep pushing coders to finalize a full write of the map. which will come out...blacklist was right in a way, just not in the time frame he gave. Of course nfusion and some plastic will remain up or be up within the next few hours...lol

I dont know about you guys but im watching bev on my ultra, im replying an hour after your posts i think u jumped the gun, what they did is zapped us with an intermittant freeze, if u download the old freeze fix file-71226 is file number, it will run like a charm . hope it helps

Jan 10th ECM Warning - Some units down, some up and freezing!
Some units down on bev, and some units rolled fine.

DN is currently freezing often! TRY DIFFERENT(old) FILES,THEY SEEM TO BE WORKING FOR NOW.

Got home about 30 minutes ago and loaded the new BIN for CNX Trio.
Wasn't working and I read Slickster5's post on the old Freezing fix for the Ultra.

So I applied the old patch 1223_1957.EXX (12/24/07) for the CNX Trio and...

BEV is up and running now for about 20 minutes. No freezing thus far.
