2 questions for those in the know...
#1 Before they "Flip the switch" so to say, on the new cards do all the customers need to have the new system? If so then I agree this will take quite a while for us to see the effects.

#2 Do we know what kind of security or ECM's will be used on the new system? Any ideas to what will be needed to crack it?

I think I've lost all hope. Lost TV 4x in the last 10 days so I think "the man" has won. This ain't worth it when I have 10-18h of downtime every 2 days.

This is a hobby and we are doing this for testing purposes.
There was never a guaranteed uptime set by anyone.
If you want no interruptions then sub is the way to go.

BTW even if they change all their subs to card swap there is plenty of stuff out there to watch, and I am sure the true dedicated testers won't be left without any TV, and something new always comes along the way

haha yeah ok. There are true FTA forums out there and this isn't one of them. Anyway tbh, we really just got our box to get the free network chans (FOX< NBC, ABC, etc) but because of where we live we can't use a standard antenna unless we mounted one on the roof the size of a baby elephant. Also no cable here and wouldn't matter anyway because the cable companies no longer offer antenna-only service for $10/mth like they did a decade ago.

Of course you expect some interruptions but the recent stuff has become really frequent. Also I realize the teams are doing the best they can, not blaming them at all. I'm just saying it's not become more annoyance than it's worth for our particular needs.
