not to sound like a ****, but are new files being worked on? Like my cw800 was down at 2:00 last night, and i hadn't even tried it earlier(may have been longer), and I hear everyone's down, but still haven't heard a thing about any bins being out for any receivers at all???

Pulled it...15%!!
Dishnet lost 15% of their subs to their own ecm! LOL 2 million people had no TV! Didnt take long before the call center was buried and they had to pull it.. There is a new one in the works tho.. Coders working to cover both..

From what I can find/read about my nFusion, it DOES NOT use the standard "IKS" approach; their guru's have even posted that they would like to change that name as it is confusing to lump it in with normal "IKS".
Posted on various nFusion forums...and I am paraphrasing here:
1. nF does not "share keys", at least not the kind of "Key" we are used to dealing with.
2. nF does not use "card sharing" per se. The nF 'guru' stated that their technology is "not plastic based"
One user reported that he had a CoolSat and nFusion both going at the same time when this latest ECM came down. The CS and nF both went down at the "same instant", even though one was using its standard bin file and the other a proprietary "IKS" system.
Given those meager hints, we can only guess that nF is somehow "based on plastic", but not USING plastic, i.e. card sharing. Whatever algorithm they are using obviously hiccuped during this latest event, and the algorithm needed 'tweaking' to get it back on line.
But it did come back (ALL channels now on), and was down for only about 6 hours or so.
My take on the "IKS Dongle" thing is that many people are going to jump onboard, thinking it is a cheap way to get nF performance. Maybe in time that will happen, but not right away.
Even the posts I read about the "true" IKS based Neosat indicate it is still freezing and not very viewable. Obviously they are not using the same technology as nF.
Consider this a positive 'review' of the nFusion 8-)
