Re: The New captiveworks-CW650 Classic
Best receiver for the money. Seriously, what other box can you get for $100 with this kind of support? Besides a used CW600 of course
Way to go CW. Very smart move. At this low of a price (and support), even people who already own multiple FTA receivers will consider getting one to test. Wonder if it has USB. Can't see the logo in the pic.

Re: The New captiveworks-CW650 Classic
i can't figure it out yet.not enough info.
if it has no usb port, its going to flop.who would not pay the extra ten bucks for the 700 for the usb port? only the people who don't know any better.
and if it does have a usb port, then i still don't get it,whats going to be the differnce between it and the 700?
and whatever that difference is,will it truely be worth saving the ten bucks and not get the 700s?
i just don't think there is enough info.
it doesn't look like it has a usb port.if it doesn't that would be silly not to pay the ten bucks lol.

Re: The New captiveworks-CW650 Classic
ya but the 700s looks good too:
i dunno.not enough info yet.
if no usb port,we have to tell people its more than worth it to get the 700s.
wont have much choice there.
10-20 bucks for no more taking receiver to the pc every time for updates? not much of a choice.IF this is the case, they will have to put a 75-80 $ tag on it to even think about justifying NOT getting the 700s IMHO.

Re: The New captiveworks-CW650 Classic
well i like how they have it for 700s and 800.
the price is not the only factor.its around 30-40 bucks for pvr capability.BUT its also a difference between more convenient usb loading with the 700 with usb on front vrs rear.
so that 30-40 bucks is just enough to make a diff, along with the usb port placement.
need more info still to see what the 10-20$ difference from 700s is to know if its even a practical choice.

Re: The New captiveworks-CW650 Classic
just a heads up, the file for the CW-650 is released and surprisingly it does dn, bev and also Telefonica which is the nagra channels on amazonas 61w. this is for south america spanish market but there is many places in usa in east coast that you can catch the satellite and also in puerto rico.
