Everyone who is not aware of the changes that are taking place really have to learn more about them to better understand what they are in for. Do not fear the newbie section, there are lots of great info located there. 
Swapping out cards with a company the size of DN will take more then a few months or weeks. And downtime could be extensive or sorted out quickly...as always with this situation, present and past, hold off on buying boxes with false promises.

This must be an expensive move on DN. They either have a fool proof system ready in place, or are fools. Alot of hackers will be hacking away to bypass these cards. I would think that it will be very dificult to get around their ECM this time, or they wouldn't have invested so much in the upgrade.

This should be posted in the RUMOR section, because thats all it is. A straight card swap takes 9-12 months. Include hardware, and you can ad 6-9 months. Everything was said at the shareholders meeting. Enjoy what you have while you have it, and sub for a backup.

it means u need to buy an nfusion because the pyro twins have stated that nfusion already has tested nagra 3 and they have the solution for it already

I love it!!! YUP, there are lots of birds out there. Just click onto Lyngsat, pick and click......... well almost. The channels are AWESOME! Why you find RELIGION. No, no, I don't mean you might see a vision, I mean you might see Reverend Sharpten or, well who knows. After getting some of that old time stuff, you can move onto a good Russian language channel or even an Iranian Channel. Not sure if there are any Swahili programs of interest.
Yes! When all goes down we still have the other birds. But wait! Just maybe there is enough $$$ out there in our great beyond to excite our favorate FTA manufactures to pull something out of their hat. Have faith folks. Geez, I have to stop watching those other birds.

DN using N3 in Oct08 would be a pretty quick change over. BEV started to issue smartcards in Feb08 and is still not finished. DN has 6 times the customers, therefore it will take them at least a year to complete the change over.

rumor has that neo has nagra 3 cracked with new hiks not sure but would be nice just a rumor boys and girls. lets hope so.
