n3 isnt hacked over seas they have had for two years now and cant touch it.all there doing is card sharing no different then fusion is doing on bev.rember p3 to p4 i think this will be the same way.

Not a big surprise they started there. 61.5 is part of the Eastern Arc and 2 of the 3 sats on this are already N3. 118.7 is mostly international and probably less subscribers so the cards for these packages have probably been all sent out.

I would not expect the total switchover to N3 to be rapid. First of all they do not have all the cards sent out and second of all it is unlikely they believe N3 is uncrackable so they will likely drag this out for a while to cost the FTA pirate market as much as possible during this cat and mouse game.

I would expect internationals and HD to go down first followed by PPV and then all the rest in a piecemeal fashion. The big winner in all this I believe will be BEV since they will be enjoying pirate free TV broadcasting except for certain IKS viewers until DN goes black and we see if N3 really can be cracked or not.

There are only 2 real questions left.
How quickly will dn implement n3 only on the most popular sats.
And how long it will take coders to do there thing.

At this point no one knows the answers to these questions.......Now we wait and see.

Personally, I think Charlie indicated that the time line for the card swap would be such and such (to the Shareholders) knowing full well (privately) that they intend to have it done sooner, so they can then trumpet the success of the program, ahead of it failing miserabley of course.

I agree cg, this move (if you have read what was posted by Charlie) is quite a bit sooner than what we were led to believe.

This i would like to say to all members of abadss

We have a wide variety of speculation concerning the move to n3 from n2. These rumors are for your whole family, optimists and pessimists alike.

The first one for optimists is: There is already a crack for n3 and coders are just waiting for dn to pull the trigger.

The second for pessimists is: n3 is not even close to being broken and the only fix will be an iks solution for quite some time.

I will say this one other thing to all the members here at abadss.....When there is news pertaining to this transition you will not need to look further than this site. We have THE most experienced mods/helpers and members to get you up to speed on the latest news.
