I think an independent group will crack it and sell it to the companies who make make receivers. So there will be no winner to that contest

The way I figure it is they didn't crack dave because it was easier to go with dn and he was going after end users. I understand not releasing anything yet, not even in Europe. If they didn't wait until full implementation things might have went in another direction. As for them spending all that money, they gambled it before on n1 and n2. I don't think there is any doubt they were hoping it wold never be cracked. I also think sv was just taking steps to keep their customers happy. If the crack is gonna take a while and you don't want to wait. You can use their ihub until then. This matters to me. Of course they are making money, but they are offering solutions.

This somewhat moot, but just how can anybody be sure that N1 & N2 were cracked??? If the solution to those two encryptions was achieved by software espionage, that in my opinion does not mean they were broken by decoding methods other than thievery.

We need a check box for none. Fta will never work again at the nag 3 level. Theres gonna be a lot of book ends out there

same ole song lalalalalalalalala nothing is uncrackable . they said alchatraz was unescapeable. titanic unsinkable , man would never fly accross the atlantic and so on, it may be awile . or it might be that we all purchase new equipment who knows. but the fact of the matter is that money is the root of all evil if nag 3 isnt cracked it will be leaked cause some-one in geekland really likes money.
