Ya'll don't honestly think a group of fta coders will be the first to hack plastic, Do you?

Perhaps the question should be, "What fta box will be first to release their cardless fix once n3 is hacked?"

I do think that comparing the nfusion & the neo to the others is very much like comparing apples & oranges.

However, it is ****ing reflection on the V2 team's rep that confidence in the neo (even with supposed iks support) is less than that of the stand-alone CNX, VS & SV boxes.

Although Viper's brief appearance here at ABA was a good (but legit & informative) PR
move, it is very troubling that the most recent stable file was from D1. And even more troubling is that, for whatever reason, D1 could not stick around the Neo team just as the MS twins couldn't stick around. Plus, Neo owners & purchasers were led to believe that HIKS was just around the corner more than a year ago. In our experience of testing it, the Neo has been a much better cardless machine than an IKS machine; thus the V2 team should have been able to recognize (after months & months) that rapidly supplying BINS which would be easily uploaded via the network would be the best selling point. "Easily uploading via a network" IS a great selling point in & of itself.

team sonicview with their hardware "magic board" from what little bit we know-there is currently underground testing going on right now for the sv 8k/360 series stbs.
no word on the status tho,if its going good/bad/fair/indifferent yet.
the boys are really doing a good job keeping this one hush,hush.
but its the only NON iks "plan" that we know about at least thus far.

p.s.
remember the "spam e-mails" trying to sell the boards was a confirmed hoax.
however the magic board testing is confirmed to be underway behind the scenes.
there was some confusing when all this news came out back along.

I actually think that N3 will not be cracked in a foreseeable future, the way using an update fix like those for N2, with or without additional hardware.

IMHO, IKS is not a crack and I belive that similar workarounds will be seen.

I agree.,.I don't think there will be a crack.,.,,I think nFusion will go wide open on bev before anyone.,then when DN goes n3 it'll be the only stb running both.,.,all or part of them.,.,it'll be a 'work around' and not quallify as a 'n3 crack' per say.,.,but that really doesn't matter when the end user has a wide open provider who has implemented n3.,.,so who is going to crack n3???.,., who cares!.,.,lol

It was most likely just a sales pitch to sell more units,when sales where starting to drop. Why do I say that you ask? It was stated right from the start that this fictional board would most likely not work with the older units, just the sv 360's and 8000. That way the could get some people who are very happy with the older SV units to run out and buy newer units. Just like anything else in the world, it's all about marketing a product. As you can see there hasn't been any talk about this so called magic board in months!! Why, well because I think it was all BS in the first place. If you use your units for the sole reason for Bev, and DN, then go out and get an Nfuisoin now before the prices go up. They are one of the few that have showed any hope to a solution to the N3 problem. Bottom line is talk is cheap! nfusion has showed they have a work around for Bev. Nobody else has come close to them so far.

I have to go with the masses and vote Sonicview, they have proven to have the best program out right now since they have not needed a new file in the past 2 months.
