Has the N3 card been read and copied ? I think it will be cracked!!!Just might be a new coder team out there waiting for the perfect time to introduce them selves.

No the N3 card has not been cracked yet. Keep in mind Europe has been trying for 4 years and we have been working on it for 2 years and nobody has pulled it off. Viewsat's Cyphris claimed to have dumped the ROM, but that turned out to be something an informant in a FBI sting told him. To date as of right now, No one else has publicly claimed to have dumped the N3 ROM.

Even if it happened tonight it's unlikely we will see a standalone this year.

I remember like if it was yesterday videocrypt decoder's made by PACE with card insert came out they were being sold like hot cakes. About 20$us a month you get an legit card and watch sat TV, Sky movies, Sky news,Sky sports, Movie channel's............. and on and on.Then came skyBsky the angel of the eye an RS232 cable, max IC, PCB 8 contacts and a computer and there was free TV!!!!
That was way back then now is now, i went for a visit in Europe about 8 months ago to see a few tec friends and saw N ew way of seeing digital processing of sat signals.
From what i have researched so far many are looking the wrong way?
We will see if it is stand alone , IKS or both.

Dude, my money is on VS. :-) (Even got a wager with the old man - if the fix is here by mid-September, he takes me out to dinner, if it isn't, we'll get a cheap sub to tide us over until there is a fix and there will be. Either way, not a bad bet.)

As to IKS, no thanks. Way too iffy for me (i.e. IP tracking) and secondly, not every one has cable internet to have one's receiver hooked up to via a PC! I'm in the country and dial up is all that is available out here. If one were to try IKS with dial up, it would require a second phone line since you don't want to have your primary one tied up constantly. So then, what is the difference between IKS and just subbing?

Viewsat will come through and I am betting on it!

ha ha ha. Just dream for another year about the crack. N4 will release in the mean time and we dream more and waste money.

I say all the best but do not rely on these FTA boxes.

Not even Viewsat can break it. If they had the capacity, they would have done it by now. There is some business proposition here. Not DN is making good money and any illegal activities are being tracked by them with the N3 code.

I surf several fta sites cuz I have a working fta receiver. Seeing as you don't Why do you come to a fta site? I mean I guess you could be using your veiwsat for true fta but if that's the case Viewsatusa has the bin you need at least until it closes down too.

As for whining I'm just trying to get the message across to all the brain washed suckers that "the fix is coming anytime now" message is BS total 100% BS. Unless your Idea of anytime means maybe in 2010 if were lucky.

Are you a representative for the iks business. I have a working viewsat with true fta and Telefonica. Give the guys a chance, i do hope when the N3 files comes out that you are not the first to run and buy another vs box.

No I loved my veiwsats the company always did good by me. The only problem I have with viewsat is torrent of lies they've put out. This doesn't make them so very different than other fta companies. The receivers come from south Korea but they run the forums like North Korea.

Am I representative for the iks business, I'm not sure what you mean, do you think iks is a sinlge business? as far as I can tell there several different types of iks and even more companies exploiting each of them. They all have thier pluses and minuses, but they do work.

Here's a break down of the facts one more time

Kwak dose own Viewsat and was charged a federal crime for which he had to put up a 1/2 million dollar bond to stay out of jail.

Viewsat's coding/cracking team also has been charged with federal crimes or have turned informant. This is why it now takes VS days to fix simple key changes in Telefonica.

VS's forum has lost all it's sponsors and is now closed.

FTA retailers are discontinuing VS products as they sell off their inventory

N3 card has not been cracked by anyone. unless someone pulls it off fta coders will never have anything to code. so fta coders aren't working anything because they have nothing to work on.

N3 has been working in Europe for 4 years and they have never cracked the card. Iks is all that exist now.

So again go iks or read a book.

Woh chill out its only TV freedom of speech!! This forum i think is for education purposes and on the other side its for research purpose of proving to them selves and not to any one else that it can be done.
Why loose it all for a bunch of installers taking credit for a file they did not comply.
Good thing come to us at the right time.
FYI: Viewsat's coding/cracking team are not coders they were nano electronic technicians and were not employees of the Viewsat company they were being paid to dis-layer a card!
(Lets just take in good info and have fun)

we talk about who will crack the n3 but has anyone ask what is the progress on the nag3 and where it stands or do the coders have something solid or is it just a no fix thanks

While I think it would be great if the VS coders could post frequent updates on their progress, I think their main concentration is on the task at hand. Also, goodness only knows how many DN moles check the different FTA forums hoping they can happen upon a leak of some kind from the coders...
