the nfusion is up on alot of b3v channels and has been for awhile with n3,when dn goes down ,i think it will be the same as the other provider.only time will tell

Receivers offering IKS features are not a TOTAL solution to the introduction of N3, it only allows for offerings that are available that do not include PPV or Adult content.
Having said that, a large number of options are open using IKS ... that is why the leading brand of receiver with an IKS component is so popular.
When N3 rolls in, there will be a period of darkness (total darkness).
So if you enjoy having your options open - look to nFusion.

EHTHERNET READY BOXES (IKS CONNECTIVITY) - perhaps a site helper or moderator might consider making a post of the brands and models of the fta receives that have a build in ethernet port for iks and what they know of the status of these brands iks and plans (i.e. what the coders have stated they will have available via iks when DN n3 completed).

DONGLES - PERHAPS ONE OF THE MODERATORS - SINCE MANY ARE TESTING NUMEROUS BRANDS OF BOXES - MIGHT CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF BRANDS AND MODELS THAT COULD BE UPDATED TO IKS BOXES BY PURCHASING AN OPTIONAL IKS MODULE (USB TO ETHERNET) AND PERHAPS ANY INFO THEY MIGHT HAVE AS TO THE STATUS OF THESE BOXES IKS PRGRAMMING (WHETHER THEY HAVE STATED WHAT PROGRAMMING THEY BELIEVE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THEIR BRAND ONCE N3 IS IN PLACE)
Those wishing to continue with any viewing pleasure if they don't have iks now will be in the market for some new boxes or optional iks modules (dongles) in the near future! Any info from those who have extensive experience with this hobby (moderators and site helpers and others who are testing numerous boxes) might wish to contribute to a SEPERATE thread (hopefully a sticky in some forum or another) could be beneficial to those that are now contemplating updating to boxes with iks or purchasing a dongle so that they will be able to make a more informed decision.

theres lots of fta ch that are cool.for 250 buck get a motor 90cm dish and a really good lbn and a switch.but the nf is working right now with iks.im thinking other boxs are going to switch to iks

Its not going to be a easy task for other receivers to switch to IKS! Its a system that nfusion pretty well has perfected. The pro 2000 (neosat) has been trying for months the get IKS working, with out a lot of luck. The only way to make receivers work after n3 is cardsharing, this system is being used for bev with nfusion. It might be possible to card share with a dongle, but I know veryt little about that. All I do know is the nfusion is allways up and running. and will continue to be running when n3 hits!

Actually the IPRO2000 is doing well with IKS for DN and BEV and may very well have the complete resolve any time now

9:40 P.S.T. Not that I watch them particularly but thought I would check and the DN PORN CHANNELS are STILL UP, so Charlie didn't make the 04/01/09 date.
Hopefully Charlie is having massive problems with their conversion to N3 causing extensive time delays.

As with 99.99% of all predictions that give exact dates, this one once again teaches us all a lesson, 'it's BS until proved otherwise'. porn is all up still, not saying it won't go down sometime sooner then some others, but these predictions that give an exact date are nearly always BS. 
I know this didn't originate here, as it has been posted all over the web, since at least 3 weeks ago. I suspect that the person who started it is starved for attention.
P.S. I know it's April third and everyone will say " well we just said it would go down about the first" lol, let's just wait and see how long it really stays up, The POINT IS IT'S APRIL THIRD AND PORN iS NOT DOWN! these predictions are worth the paper they are printed on, which is nothing.

Usually the dates are provisional. The channels may be cut off, so you better have the new card in your box. Also it seems strange to cut off ppv adults channels so early. Usually subbed adult channels(Playboy) go first. PPV usually after premium channels are gone.

Neither are down PPV or The regulars fresh , playboy , real etc.. etc.. all still up and running. the date April 1st was given very firmly and is not a provisional prediction lol.
P.S. the prediction was for PORN to go down not necessarily just ppv porn but "PORN". Don't mean to upset anyone but these predictions seem to not really serve any purpose other then to get folks excited about something that's totally out of their control.
