Have you read about the CRY Wolf story for N3 fix?
Hi, I would like to remind of the story we all must have read about The Boy Who Cried Wolf  , after fooling few times, people stop trusting him.
same thing happening here, Viewsat N3 is coming... wait... its coming... 
Most will realized this is same old story... haven't we all learned from the past?
patient is virtue... yeah we all hear that, but don't forget the moral of the wolf story.
Don't buy any VS even if it is $1, unless you see a real fix. |

VS units are great for FTA applications, get yourself a 36"+ dish, a motor and an invacom LNB and open up the sky.

Hi, maybe I should have clarify more in last post... Don't buy VS for DN or Bev channels, unless you see real fix.

I for one give viewsat credit. They maybe one of the few that are working on a stand alone fix. Viewsat has stated in the past that they will never turn to an IKS based solution, due to the danger of legal matters to the end user. While other brands such as sonicview has also stated the same thing. Sonicview has rushed out with this Ihub, to grap some quick money from people. And as of right now, most who have bought it will tell you that it is a rip off. To me that says volumes to the creditablity of Viewsat! They stand by their word, and are not so worried about making a quick buck.
In the long run. Viewsat users may be the happy campers. Hold on to that Viewsat and let the cards play out.

there is no cry wolf story or VS for a dollar...
VS still great and untoucheable...they're trying to get it fix and not trying to get your money...
you'll be able to watch TV with a fix not with a piece of S&*^T.

So as of today my vs is worthless. I loved this product when i bought it several years ago and it was so easy. What do I do now? No fix and nothing in sight?

well, I will still stick to my word, that is DO NOT buy VS just because someone is saying VS is about to release new FIX or they are working on it...
if you want DN & BEV, do not buy any VS or matter of fact any other FTA that is currently not up & running...
No need to buy on speculation, who knows if VS will ever release n3 fix?

I have 2 VS recievers and hope to get a fix soon, but at the same time I got the hub because its better to have a few channels then no channels.
Once the N3 fix comes out I will go back to VS and happy to go back..

it only makes sense not to buy a product that is not working. you have stated that. but there is no need to bash viewsat for not releasing a date when the fix will be out. they probably dont know the answer and wont until they have a file that works.
I have read in the rumor section that the viewsat coders are making progress and believe they will have a fix soon. hats off to viewsat and their coders, you are the best and soon we will all see that proven.

I have 3 vs my self and I think that they are a grate product but iam not going to just sit around and wate for a fix. Its still summer time get out and enjoy it. Time will come soon with a fix.

TNP12, this is still just rumor like all others, till we see a fix. VS codes working maybe, but releasing VS releasing fix... no real signs, could be next year or beyond that. Everything has to be time limited, otherwise we will just see... working on the fix next year & so on. If they cannot release N3 in some decent time, IKS is the way go. I hope some remember P4 & P5 story... people keep on holding saying fix is coming... some waited few months others few years... finally most realized the truth... their is no fairy tale.
