this is infomation from the site that is calling itself the iks viewsat release site i wanted to post this as it can answer some questions that i see being asked more and more but remember this is NOT FACT YET!!!

I have a few questions.

1) Did you guys write the v-link loader?

2) If so, are you guys writting the files, or are other people?

3) will this be the exclusive release site?

4) is there a date for the v-link to be released, or estimated? 1 Month? 3 months more?

5) is this device out of prototype?

1) The V-Link Loader was written by a private Coding Team (Vlink Coding Team).

2) Files will also be supported by the Coding Team.

3) This is the official release site, any info or files relating to V-Link will be posted here.

4) No date, price, has been established yet du to server configuration. (IKS Server) They are currently working on server space to make sure it includes most channels possible and to accomodate a maximum of users.

5)Picture of device will be released shortly too, with proof of working video on Viewsat receiver.

Still waiting info about when it will be release to public. It is beeing tested by a private beta group.

But i think Vlink is backing up because something is going on underground about a Standalone Fix, is this happens they probably wont sell enough vlink unit to be profitable.

people who have there own ideas on what they think willnot work LOL this is about a standalone fix and he thinks a computer will not be able to produce one LOL i guess he forgot it was a computer that made n3

Lol, what does computer speed have to do with a standalone fix for N3 ? we emulated N2 no problem and N3 is not that more complicated, just more difficult to brake threw.

If / when N3 is comprised, they will be able to create emulating files (from computers...)

well i just figured i would share some new news about viewsat since you guys do not hear too much

state what you think but please do not bash anyone about there opinion as you have one too and would not like it done to you ..

why are we still calling the vs dongle a v-link? v-link is for limesat i think. vs has the weather forecaster.

TC - That was the site that was trying to market the v - link.
Definitely a Bogus issue.

The WF is being marketted by a different site which is the true Viewsat original site revamped after the decision to come out with an IKS solution.
WF is being shipped as we speak and the software I am told is tested and ready for release.

Will keep everyone informed of what is taking place.

see this is what i mean let us look into this and find out thje truth and get one to test and see how and if it works that way the members here are not taken for a ride and spending there hard earned money on a false product

so vgiddy talk to the site you know and ask them for a test module .. or pm me and i will .. this way we can find out the truth .. thanks i am going to ask for one from the other site and lets see who can supply one ..LOL

well this site here says it has the vlink here is some infor the site admin there .. i have posted that i would test and also who and where i am from and nothing he chose to ignore me and move on and answer other questions with no reply now if you had a producet and a site and the site only had 1000 members would you(if you had a working product ) not want to get it for testing to someone like me on the largest site on the net to test .. well i just sent him a pm and waiting to see if he ignores me then i a positive it is a fake site and they are trying to just sell a dead produck

remember if you buy a vlink for 100.00 and it does not work you have wasted alot of cash

i will give you a example of the money they could make.... i purchased this serial to ethernet dongle from the computer store it cost me 3 dollars yes 3.00 so if they are say selling usless dongle that is a 97 dollar profit so it is worth it to scam others .. and if they are lets find out or atleast not buy one

Thanks TC. Makes sense to wait and see if the v-link, weather forcastor or any file being sold is true blue. I agree with an earlier post and I think it was yours if we don't dive in head first on every inks product we could very well find ourseleves looking at a standalone a lot quicker. Thanks again.

Now for further edification, in this thread, I posted a scan of a Viewsat dongle, and it was confirmed by another member that it is the same as a CNX dongle. One piece of hardware, and just maybe one could flash it to work with either VS or CNX...Even better, maybe for 23 bucks...
