load using vista - ABA DSS

I have just got a new laptop with Wintows Vista home premium and got loader2 installed with the lattest bin but it will not load to my extreme box.
I had no problem with windows XP. anybody have this problem? Thanks

Did you load the vista driver for the usb to serial adapter?

I have a laptop with Vista and it won't work either. I have to use my desktop with XP.

I forgot to mention that I tried the laptop with the webloader and it won't work with that eithr. Had to us XP for that also.

am usin win vista ultim and i have kno prob wid it. i have a vs ultra. u have to make sure u install the driver for the usb to serial adapter if u r usin one.

You have to load the driver for usb to serial for you use loader 2. Also don't forget to select the correct com port.

I have vista home premium. A SV1000 stb. I load the bin file with a null

cable. Give that a try. highlandbill
