Regarding Viewsat Receivers Authenticity

There have been many posts regarding New Receivers looking like clones. Well all new receivers manufactured as of mid Nov 07 were changed and are Known as Version 2 (V2) These include as all are aware the VS Ultra which was the first noticeable one to be changed. However it is not limited to just the Ultra. The Pro, Lite, HD and even a small shipment of Xtremes have V2 models. They all have similar cosmetic changes just like the Ultra V2 with a horizontal switch and side indent bars (except lites). As with the V2s there are a few different cosmetic variations as well with the USB logo on the front door flap as well as with the color of the Viewsat hologram on the rear. I am waiting for images for these different changes in the V2 Viewsats and will be posted as soon as I have them. As it stands at this time there are no clones of the Viewsat Version 2 receivers.
