Vspro
Just a quick question. I am upgrading to a VSPRO from a CS5000 and I am waiting on it to be delivered. I just heard it was being discontinued. Is this correct? And am I safe to buy this one.

the platinums and extremes have been discontinued for a while now but the support remains as good as ever.
I have no reason to believe the support for the vspro will be any different. you should be safe.

Is the VSPro being discontinued?
I really want to try Viewsat and I really would like one that is a PVR. But I am willing to give up the PVR functions if the Ultra is the way to go.

I didnt heard anything about it.
Also i'm testing a VSpro and i have no complain about it.
The receiver is Great.

The Viewsat Pro is not discontinued.
Actually the only news I am hearing regarding Viewsat's products is that there is a new Viewsat Ultra HD coming out within a month.
It will be High Definition, smaller in size, and will go for less than $300.
This is the only information I have so far and it is not a rumor.
