- this unit is very similar to the viewsat ultra ,this receiver cames with a front slot USB 2.0 to allow for easy updates.sonicview 4000 with a USB slot for easy firmware upgrade and future plans to allow an external USB drive which allows you to plug in hard-drives and make it a DVR,the future plans for this receiver makes the sonicview sv-4000 a very exciting receiver.
