Re: sv 360 hookup
Use your Audio and Video cable to hook it to your TV.
You can use a USB to download all the files.
Always read all the instruction before downloading any file for your receiver.

Very good choice of reciever. Do some fancy reading so you can self educate yourself.
It might be daunting at the moment but since it is a hobby, you'll love it.

Re: sv 360 hookup
If you use the IF out your tv will need to be on channel 3 or 4 depending on the 3-4 switch on the back of the receiver on tuner 1. I like to use the RCA cables from the receiver red, white and yellow to the red, white and yellow on my TV aux and change the tv channel to aux. I hope this helps. Put your sat line on tuner 1 and in your installation menu tuner 1 will be shown at the top of the screen. When you are in the installation menu scroll to sat and push ok on the remote and it will list all sats and just hit OK when you get to the you are aimed at and set it up.

Re: sv 360 hookup
Try to load the factory file and then load new bin again and set the box up. You can get the factory file from sonicviewusa site.

Re: sv 360 hookup
Did you use bin 120b. The premier is also out and the new file for it is 108b. Give the bin number and also detailed instructions how you are connected from sat to box and box to tv.I tried the loop out to my dvd recorder and do not get a picture. I will try my sat settings and change tuner 1 to loop and see if that works. The more info you give us the easier it is for someone to help. Tell us what kind of sat (**** or b) if you are aimed at 10/19 and so on.

Re: sv 360 hookup
You need to hook your line from your sat to the top post on tuner 1 (LNB IN) if you have only one line from your sat then you can put a line from tuner 1 out to tuner 2 in. Then in your sat menu have tuner 1 set to separate and tuner 2 set to loop. You have to use the RCA plugs either Y. Pb, Pr and connect to your tv if it has the same color and type input. If your TV does not the use the RCA plugs from yellow, red, white to the input on your tv red, yellow and white. I hooked mine up fast on Friday and this unit does not have vcr out like my CW and SV-4000. I was wrong when I told you about the 3/4 switch on the back. I hope this helps.
