Connection Question

Select Connection and choose Loop Through (means: same Sat for Tuner 1 and 2 with loop through) or Separate (means: different Sat for each Tuner).

I have one cable from 4x1 switch. Getting 110,119, and 91.
I connect the one cable from switch to in port of tuner 1. In my settings under Connection I'll choose the loop thru, correct?? Do I need any piece of additional hardware to create the Loop Thru?? Or in choosing the Loop Thru setting the STB will automatically use the two tuners even though I have only connected one cable to the tuner 1 port??

It's been a while since I set up a new box. Lots of new fangled everything. Head is spinning, hold on Puff Puff, ah, that's better.

Here's my next question. I'm assuming the factory file in the new box is the latest. Should I be loading CDO's sat file prior to loading the latest fix?

first put the latest file then do your own scan of your satalites.
