For some reason, my 2nd tuner doesnt seem to be working. When recording a show, I can't change channels, and when trying to switch tuners manually (hitting the "SAT" key on the rcu), i get a message saying "No TV Channel".

I have 2 cables coming in directly from my 2 lnb ********** so my connection looks right. Am i supposed to rescan satellites a second time for tuner 2 for the dual tuner feature to work, or should it be able to work from the first scan for tuner 1?

Anything else i should double check or try?

I have this unit and it works great. Rescan stations for the second tuner and it will work. I hope this helps.

Yes you have to scan for tuner2. Just think about your SV360E as the two receivers in one box. It means you can operate them separately and you have to have channels in both of them.
In your case you don't need to rescan for 2nd tuner. There is a feature of COPY. Go INSTALLATION-CHANNEL COPY-0000 and copy from 1st to second tuner.

that copy feature did the trick perfectly... the channel guide populated, but i was getting "channel scrambled" errors so i changed my settings from "loop through" to "separate" and that solved the problem completely (installation >>> dish setting >>> connection type: Separate)

one last thing... after the channel copy, my channel guide on tuner 2 now appears to be unsorted, making it hard to channel surf... any ideas how to fix this?

should be under menu channel edit and set to sort by SID. set all channels edits to sort by SID

my unit froze before i got a chance to try that, but looks like a hard reboot actually did the trick as well
