Unable to find 110
I just acquired a new 360 Elite PVR receiver and I have tried for hours to find 110. I have no problems finding 119 and I have downloaded all the transponders. 119 is working well nice clear signal. Why is it that I am unable to find satellite EchoStar 110?
Any help will be appreciated. My setting are.
I have two single LNBF's and a switch21
LNB Power:------------ON
LNB Type:-----------single-DP
LNB Frequency:------11250
Transponder: --------12239
22KHz:---------------OFF
Search Option:-------ALL
Network Search ------On
DiSEqC:-------------Port1
Motor: -------------Off
Legacy Switch:-------None
Satellite:---------<110,Echostar8
LNB Power:----------- ON
LNB Type:-----------Single-DP
LNB Frequency:------11250
Transponder:-------- 12224
22KHz:---------------OFF
Search Option:-------ALL
Network Search ------On
DiSEqC:-------------Port2
Motor: -------------Off
Legacy Switch:------None
I have changed the settings every way I can think of and still can't find 8x. I have been working on this unit for weeks without any luck. Could it be that I have a bad receiver? I currently have a Sonicview 4000 so I am familiar with the setting and have tried every possible combination. I am getting very frustrated.

Re: Unable to find 110
Remove the Sw-21 switch and install a diseq switch. Hook 119 to port 1 on diseq and 110 to port 2 on switch. Run cable to your STB and go into setup and set the diseq ports to match your settings. This should fix your problem with no signal. Make sure you are getting a good signal after doing this, may have to move dish some to increase signal...

Re: Unable to find 110
either your settings are wrong, your connections are wrong or bad, or the dish is not aligned properly.
check these things and let us know how you make out.

Re: Unable to find 110
I tried replacing the s21 with a switch that came with the receiver and no change. I am receiving a signal level of 73 and quality level of 99-100 on 119 and a signal of 73 but no quality on 110. We are using two dish pro LNBs.

Re: Unable to find 110
Did you try to direct the cable from LNB to receiver the 110W? Buddy your LNB type must be OCS-DP because you are using dish pro LNB.

Re: Unable to find 110
try a different port on the switch, they burn out sometimes. ( to prevent that always have the power on your receiver off when making any adjustments.)
you still may not have your dish aligned and dont forget cdo's suggestion.

Re: Unable to find 110
cdo_care Thank you, your suggestion maybe the answer to my problem. I will let you know as soon as I try it. I thought I had tried every combination of choices but perhaps I missed that one. I will try as soon as I get home. I thought since I had single LNBF’s to set it at single setting. I do however receive 119 without any problem.

Re: Unable to find 110
I was able to find 110 by setting up another dish network dish that was given to me. It has a single LNBF and I had and move the dish a different location about 150 feet from my house. I take a portable dish with me when I go camping and had the same problem at the camp ground. It has to be something I am doing wrong. I have checked the settings over and over and can't see that I am doing anything wrong. I seem to have problems with dish 500. I will let you know if I can find the answer to the problem. Perhaps it is where I live, I am from the Northeast in Pa. It's not right but it's working and that is all that matters.
Thank you all for your help.

Re: Unable to find 110
i was setting up a system with a legacy 500 last weekend and was having problems in the set up menu on getting the dish to work right, tried alot of different settings and to no aveil could not get 119 and 110 working together. had a couple standard lnbs laying around, replaced twin with singles with diseqc and have been working great so far. if you still have problem replace with standard lnbs. they make two different mounts so pull twin off to see if you have a flat or a round mount braket so you get right ones

Edwinsao,
Could you post how you got the SV360 elite working with the dish 500 w/ DPP. I am having the same problem trying to get 119/110 together on 119 -port 1 fine . But no quality on 110w with port2. I have used all the settings in the help section. Is there a tip you can give me. Thanks in advance.
