I have a dish 500 with dpp lnb i am only running 1 line in for now. I plugged it into if a in and am using s video to my pc video card.

the question is do i use the same setting as my previous sv 4000 ???

also loading bev is this manually or by usb ???

this is my setting as of 10:25pm pacific and i get failed when i channel scan.

thats the beauty of the dish pro plus lnb and the sv Elite,you only need 1 line.
do you only have the one dish and dpp lnb?
and do you have a dpp separator?

yes i have only the one dish it is a dish 1000 with a quad lnb and i do not have a separator i just pluged into the ft a in

oh ok.thats much diff than a dpp lnb.
ok,yup run a straight line into tuner one.and setup and sat scan:

tuner 1:

119/echo 7:
LNB type: ocp-dp
LNB frequency: 11250
22khz.: off
LNB power: on
transponder : 12239

search options: all
network search: on
Diseqc : port 1
motor: disable
legacy switch: off


110/echo 8,x:
LNB type: ocp-dp
LNB frequency: 11250

and that's it.
i dont think twins/quads work with dpp separators.-well yeah i guess they wouldn't or they wouldn't call them dpp lol.the dpp carries signals diff.
im going to finally have to read up on my dish pro lnbs better.

so you can swap it with a dpp lnb and add a dpp separator.then you could keep just one line for both tuners.(like in the sticky)

or you can just run another line from your quad into tuner 2.-cheaper than swapping lnbs.
then you would set tuner 2 the same way.

but no setting nimiq 1 since your not pointed there.
