Here is the MASTER PIN for all sonicview receivers.

Set autoroll to off under system settings -> user options
* Go to Menu
* Select Entertainment and enter 7890
* CODE will come up at the bottom - scroll down to code then click OK
* Look for Cas < Nagravision>
Set up Procedures
There is really only three selections to start the Set Up process: Menu -> Installation -> DN Settings -> Press OK.
The first thing you see when the stb is turned on is the "Language" selection which is straight forward and self-explanatory. Thereafter, this selection will appear anytime a Factory Default is selected. Then the "Channel Information Bar" appears at which time you select "menu" key on the rcu and the Main Menu comes on the TV screen.
Main Menu
Select Installation -> DN Settings -> Press OK.
1. Select Tuner I.D. and choose one of the two Tuners, A or B using the Vol up/down keys on the rcu.
2. Select Satellite and choose the Sat you want to search pressing the Vol up/down keys. Press the OK button to see the preset Sat List. Note the Function Keys at the bottom of this display.
3. Select Connection and choose Loop Through (means: same Sat for Tuner 1 and 2 with loop through) or Separate (means: different Sat for each Tuner).
4. Select lnb type/Frequency and choose your lnb freq. or enter direct by using the numerical pad on the rcu.
5. Select 22KHz: Off
6. Select lnb power: On
7. Select Transponder (TP) and choose the Freq. you want to search using the Vol up/down keys or press OK to see preset tp list. Note Function Keys.
8. Select Search Option and choose one of three choices: All (Normal selection = fta + Scrambled Channels); fta (fta Channels); or cas (Scrambled Channels)
9. Select Network Search On
10. Select DiSEqC Switch and choose Off or Mini-A, Mini-B, Port 1, 2, 3, or 4
11. Select Motor and choose one of three choices: Disable (Select this if no motor is used); motor (move the DN); usals (set up system with usals).
12. Select Channel Scan Start and choose one of four Modes using the color Function Keys: Red (start sat scan); Green (start TP scan); Yellow (start multi-sat scan); or Blue (start blind scan). Before channel scan start, you can check signal strength and quality with the meter display on the screen.
13. Select Channel Scanning this menu appears after Channel Start is selected and you can see the six parameters of the scanning process.
After Channel Scanning is completed, " Do you want to save?" pop-up appears...select Yes to save. Then Press Exit Key on the rcu and you will move to the first TV channel. You have now completed the Set Up of your new Receiver and should be watching TV...Congratulations.
How To Enter Keys SV360 Elite
Code:
1. Hit the “Menu” button.
2. Choose the "Intallation" menu.
3. Then then press 7890.
4. You should then see “Code” appear and be flashing. Highlight it and Press “OK.”
5. Then scroll to Nagravision .
6. Move to DN and make sure it is 0101 for DN and for B*v 0901.
7. Enter the first half of Key 86 (Key 00) in line 10.
8. Then enter the second half of Key 86 (Key 01) in line 11.
9. Then Enter the first half of Key 96 (Key 01) in line 20.
10. Then Enter the second half of Key 96 (Key 01) in line 21.
11. Then Exit out.
12. Change channel and watch TV
360 Elite Setup Guide for PVR Functions
Not my work a c/p but some helpful information
The purpose of this post is to acquaint you with some of the operating features and procedures of the Personal Video Recorder (PVR) of the SV-360 Elite.
This feature is a real jewel. It provides several versatile functions that are really user friendly and enhance the recording process. I recommend a Western Digital HDD My Book. They are available in 250, 500, 750, and 1000GB sizes...the 250 should provide about 100 hours of recordings. They are USB and the Elite has three USB slots (one in front and two in back).

1. USB Drives: here you can browse the files of the USB hard drive or thumb drive and manage them by:
- Playback of recorded video files.
- Rename or delete files.
- Make new folder or move files.
- Update the STB with new Firmware or channel list.
(Note the functions at the bottom of the window which are: Drive Menu; Format; Scan Disk; Safe Remove).
A very important procedure that must be stressed is:
you should always do a Save Remove before disconnecting USB drives from the STB. If you disconnect the drives without safe remove...data can be lost or damaged.
2. PVR Settings:
- In the Setup of the PVR you start by:
a. Selecting Time Shift Start for Automatic or Manual operation;
b. Select Default Record Time to Default duration of the recording.
3. MP3
- You have an MP3 storage capability.
- In this Menu, only folders and MP3 files are displayed in the file list. All other files are hidden.
- This Menu helps you easily find the MP3 file you want:
a. Select the file you want and press OK.
b.The detailed information (ID3 tag) of the file are shown in the small frame.
c. If you want to stop playback, press STOP button.
d. If you want to listen to the next or previous song during playback, press FF or REW.
4. JPEG
- This Menu helps you find the jpeg file you want to see.
- Only folder and JPEG files are displayed in the file list...all other files are hidden.
- To activate these files, do the following:
a. Select the file you want and press the OK key.
b. To stop the display, press the STOP key...Duh?
c. To see next or previous picture, press FF or REW key.
5. Play List
- You can select MP3 or JPEG at any time using the play list...to make a play list, do this:
a. Press the Add key in the Play List Menu.
b. Using CH Up/Down, Vol Up/Down keys, input the name of this play list and Press OK.
c. Using the Add or OK key, add MP3/JPEG files you want in the play list editor.
d. Press the Menu or Exitkey to save play list in external drives.
- To use the play list that you just made:
a. Go to My Play List folder from the root folder.
b. Find and select the play list you want to playback.
c. Press OK key to start slide show or MP3 play.
d. If you want to return to My Play List folder during playback, press the Menu key.
(Note that you can edit the play list using the edit button also)
Recording
- You should format your USB drive with FAT 32 type for recording and playback.
1. Press the Record key to record the current channel.
2. When the recording starts, the record icon is displayed on the right-upper side.
3. Press the STOP key to stop recording...Duh?
Dual Recording
If you change the channel while recording and press the record key, you can record Dual
at the same time using the process described in Recording.
Then you will see two record icons on the right-upper side.
Stop the Recording
1. If you press theSTOP key,stop recording pop-up appears.
2. Using Up/Down keys you can choose the channel to be stopped.
3. If you stop the recording the record icon will disappear.
4. You can reconfigure the recording parameters such as Duration and End Time.
Playback
With this function you can manage the recorded files and directories in the external USB
drives
Play
You can select folder and AV files that you want to manage:
1. Press the OK key and the AV file plays back.
2. STOP key:Stop the pay back AV file and return it to the starting point or current
channel.
3.PAUSE Key: Pause the play back AV file...press it twice and the payback starts again.
Rewind and Fast Forward
During playback, you can use the Rewind key to speed settings of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64...the higher the number, the faster the speed.
Also, you can forward the playback by using the Fast Forward key in the same manner as above.
Slow
Use the Slow key to watch playback in slow speed
Bookmarks and Repeat
-To watch the AV file from the scene that you want, you can point the spot using the Bookmark
key
-You can bookmark a maximum of 20 spots in any one AV file.
-When you want to repeat the AV file from the bookmark spot, press the Jump key.
-You can also playback the part of an AV file repeatedly as you mark.
-When the AV file is played back, you can mark 2 points using the Repeat key.
Time Shift
-Here is what makes it all worth while
- You may pause, rewind and go fast forward on the live program with Time Shift function.
- This is accomplished by buffering the program you are watching to the external USB drive.
- So , When you record two programs at a time, time-shift will be disabled as no more recording
allowed.
- By default, approximately a maximum of 2 hours buffering is supported.
- Two Modes start time-shift...Automatic and Manual
-- In automatic mode time-shift starts to buffer programs automatically whenever you turn on
the receiver or change the channel.
-- In manual mode, time-shift starts to buffer the program when you press Time -shift key
(Blue key).
Convert Other Video Formats To Play On sonicview sv-360 elite pvr
The sonicview 360 elite can play other video formats so if you have a lot of media content you want on your TV with the sonicview 360 it can be done and heres a guide for that.
Requirements:
Total Video Converter SW
1. Launch EffectMatrix Total Video Converter SW
2. Import video file you want to convert
3. Select video file
4. Select .TS format
5. Select Settings
6. Audio setting
7. When done with step 6, go to Video setting
8. Video setting
9. When done, click Save & Apply
10. Choose location where converted file will be saved to
11. Click to start the conversion
12. File is converting ….
13. Rename from .ts to .trp
14. File converted and rename
15. Copy converted & renamed file to usb storage
Insert usb storage into the SV-360 Elite usb port
Menu -> pvr -> usb Drive and press Ok
Box-to-Box transfer:
Have the Master box power "ON", and slave box power "OFF" completely
Connect Master and Slave box with Null cable
User remote control unit pointing at the Master and press YELLOW button and #4 (#1=Main software, #2=Channel list, #3 Bootloader, #4= ALL)
Now power up the Slave box by using the rear power switch and you should see it start transferring
Wait until it finish and reboot and you're set to go
A few tips and tricks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Installation/DN Settings - Easily find that sat - while in DN settings, with a sat highlighted, press the "ok" key, then the "sort" key on the remote, now select "alphabetical"
2) Name your favs - Menu/Installation/channel edit - press "fav" on remote (once for fav1 twice for fav2 etc.) - bring the highlighted bar to the right pane (fav) and press the yellow button on the remote.
3) Set your epg window from 3 hours to 1.5 hours (and vice versa) - Press the sleep timer button (looks like a clock) on remote while in epg
4) Search for a channel by name - Press the "magnifying glass over list button" (under fav) on remote.
5) Search for shows by category - press the Red button once on remote while in normal viewing mode
6) Search for a specific show - press the red button twice while in normal tv mode
7) Change the epg to display only shows in a specific category (for full epg range (up to 7 days)) - press fav button while in epg
Cool Enlarge the preview picture while in EPG by pressing the "user" or "cc" button
9) "User" button while in regular viewing mode turns "cc" on/off or press the "info" button then the "user" button to switch the "time remaining" info from a "percentage bar" to "numerical mintues left"
10) Worried the "significant other or kids" will find out what you've been watching? Press the "last channel" button and then the red button on the remote to delete the list.
Some Basic Sortcuts:
11) Green button (in normal viewing) - shortcut to "parental control"
12) yellow button (in normal viewing)- shortcut to "data transfer"
13) blue button (in mormal viewing) - shortcut to "muti-picture
