DPP and Dual Tuner/ PIP/ 1 Cable in From Dish

You don't need two cables coming in to the house to get PIP to work if you have the right setup.
If you have a DPP lnb and DP separator, you can get both tuners to work.

There is an option on the menu,instalation,Dish setting then where it says connection you can choose Separate,Loop-through or DPP Separator

1. Connect cable from the DPP44 to the INPUT of the separator
2. Connect SATELLITE 1 IN of the separator to the IF "A" IN on the back of SV360 Elite
3. Connect SATELLITE 2 IN of the separator to the IF "B" IN on the back of SV360 Elite

Then in the dish installation screen you'll choose DPP seperator

***Note***

The separator will work off of a DPPlus LNB--(the feature of a DPPlus LNB is that it has a Built-in Plus Switch that stacks frequencys that the separator will separate)--From the LNB,One cable into the house-into the seperator-and connect the Two outputs into the boxes Two inputs.

a Diseqc switch will Not work with a separator

Legacy & Linear LNBs will not work with the separator

SW-21 & 22Khz switches will not work with the separator

There is a Dish-1000.2(I believe) that has the three LNB's molded in one unit, on it that also have the Built-in PLUS Switch that works.

So far, so good. It looks great and is easy to use. Dual Tuner is great.
