file does work had to do factory reset and then apply new file and rescan sats

That's very odd. My Elite took the upgrade without any muss or fuss. (and no, I am not complaining!)
I still find it very interesting that folks on this site that have almost identical hardware are having such different results sometimes, for so many different situations.

Me too no probs here. It's usually user glitches in the loading, set-up, etc.
I don't have the dual setup yet, I'll bet some others don't as well. Setting up the dual can be a little trickier, thus giving different results, thus the file is usually first to be scrutinized.

Got it working for a few days then it went down too...
and yeah, it was a user setting improperly set as this is a first time setup with this box.
I'm still in learning mode.

Hey SystemDude, seen a lot of your posts lately - good stuff - brought me up to speed quickly on the elite with all it's quirks.
Seems the box went out but in actuallity it was only Tuner 1 (as if the autoroll wouldn't function or ??). Tuner 2 is working fine... using DPP and seperator.
I really should troubleshoot/search-the-forums a little before posting but its late and just want to throw it out there if anyone has seen the same.
