Sonicview Elite not taking update - ABA DSS

USB drive recognized. When I start the update the progress indicator goes to full scale and stays there. Drive shows continuous activity (light flashing) but nothing else happens. Screens continues to display reading. Any help would be appreciated.

You're talking the DN update from last night?? If you downloaded it during heavy traffic there could have been an interruption in the download. Try downloading it again. Format the USB drive before every update, then unzip to a specific folder, drg or copy to USB from there. Insert usb drive with STB off. Turn on got to PVR>OK OK OK should work, mine did last night.

Tried re-downloading, rebootng, had to restore receiver to factory, re download channels to get it to work. May have caused the problem with trying the fix that was a few days older yesterday. That was when the problem started. Got the new fix today and I was getting the same symptoms. Everything OK now. Thanks for the reply.
