Duplicate Channels
What is the best way to scan and not get duplicate channels. Also I am getting 110 but having troubles getting 119 sat. I have dp500 dual. 2 lines go to 1 tv with paid sub with dish. All channels are ok with that Tv. The other 2 lines go to the 360 elite box, on another Tv. I am not using a switch because I did not have to with my coolsat 4k or 5k and received all channels ok.I seem to get 110 when I scan but not 119, or my locals in Houston, Tx. My user options are set to Houston, Tx.
Any Help Please.
Thanks

Re: Duplicate Channels
I used Blind scan when I had no channels and still got duplicates. Which scan should I use first?

Re: Duplicate Channels
auto first.
reset default(or delete all channels.) and auto scan it.

Re: Duplicate Channels
You mean Scan all or Blind Scan? Scan Tp and scan sat are the only other options.

Re: Duplicate Channels
scan all.
To keep it clean reset your receiver and scan all.

Re: Duplicate Channels
I cleared all channels and scanned all. I get some duplicates but still cannot get my locals or most all 119.

Re: Duplicate Channels
Make sure after a factory reset setup all option right.
echo7 echo8
lnbpower - on on
lnbtype - single single
lnbfreq - 11250 11250
22khz - off off
Diseqc- port1 port2
tpfreq - 12239 12224
Both needs to show up on the top screen the sat name.
Save your settings.
Do not use blind scan.

Re: Duplicate Channels
Now I connect cables to lnb1 and lnb2, and 1 to the #1 input in back of receiver. Any other cables connected? Am I correct?
