difficult usb flash drive

Read a lot about usb flash drives I bought one and downloaded to my computer it started downloading all the files that is in my computer. I dragged the loader and the file that I would need for my sonicview 360 elite and put it in my flash drive. I took it out of my computer and my sonicview was already to put new file in because I had already did the factory reset. I set the receiver to the usb drive to put the flash drive in. And this is where my problem starts, the screen says documents so I click on it and then I scroll down to the flash drive and click on it and then I scroll down to the new file and when I push the red button on the remote for the file to start to download into the receiver it doesn't say anything about the file anymore it just says usb disk drive and how much room that I have left on the stick. Clear everything on your flash stick and lets start over. We need to format it to Fat 32. Put flashstick in your USB port on your PC. Go to my computer and right click on the drive that your flash stick is plugged into. then select format and pick Fat32. After you do this, you will need a file extractor like winrar or winzip to extract the file after you download it. Save the file to your PC, double click on the file icon or file name. A window with winrar or winzip will open. Highlight the file and click on extract file at top of screen. Another window will open asking where to extract it, select the USB port that your flash drive is in. Extract to flashstick. Put stick in your STB. Go to Main Menu, PVR, USB drive, OK, select the front USB port, highlight file, press OK, pick S/W update, OK. The file will then load...
