Add a 3rd satellite to my 360 Elite

There is a sticky on how to run a 3rd satellite (I believe 91) here except one major flaw for me, I do not have the 3rd LNB in on my DP Plus LNB!

So my current configuration is I have a Dish 500 with a DP Plus LNB as my main setup. One line is going to a separator then to my elite for it's dual tuner thingy, the other line goes to my Viewsat Pro in another room.

Amongst my spare parts in the garage I have yet another Dish 500 with DP Plus (no 3rd LNB in on it either), an older Dish 1000 with a twin LNB, and a diseq switch that came with my receiver.

Can I aim one of these 2 latter dish's at 91 and tie it in somehow to my existing configuration? If so, how and what would be my settings? Is 91 even a good choice?

yes you can use another dish.get a zinwell 4x4 switch.u can run 4 sats and 4 stbs.and 91 is a good choice

I added the 3rd ********** the 91W Nimiq1 just like the sticky said in this forum. I used a DP dedicated dish and ran it to my DP Plus 3rd coax in.

I picked the bird up, set it up and scanned for channels.

The problem now is, I get "no service or scrambled" message on any 91 channels. I still get my 110/119 just fine.

Is this not auto rolling? Is there something else I need to do? Download a different bin?

Cool.... your rooftop is now identical to mine..... hehehehehe

I just helped a friend set up for 91W and we found the first autoroll took quite a long time. After that, changing channels was normal. If you have the latest bin it should work for both DN and BEV.

Thanks. I am really excited, it was dreadfully hot today and I slaved on that roof sweat pouring in my eyes. It's amazing what this hobby will drive me to do.

Is there any certain channel on bev that will help to auto roll (like there is on echostar?)

I downloaded the newest bin the other day from the last ECM. SV360Elite_V0150P_Charlie&Beverly_Fixed082808.rom.

It's been a half hour now, still scrambled. I am starting to wonder what is wrong???

If you are on 110/119 and 91 your channels from bev should be at 2000 range.
Yes that is the newest bin to your receiver.

I click on sat, then choose Bev. It lists a lot of channels and they all say no information.


I also get a fair to poor signal on many, but some my signal is good. I had a hard time tuning this sucker in.

Should I reflash the fix? Or delete this sat and try again I wonder?

under dish settings and you have satellite nimiq 1/3 selected and diseqc set to port 3 are you seeing the sat 91 on the upper right of screen

How good is your Quality on 91?

I dont know your receiver but it maybe have a option to turn on channel SID and
be able to watch all packages(Charlie and BEV) without press the sat but the channels from BEV will show up if the 2 in from of it, like i said if the channel is 500(cnn) it will be 2500.
