I have 100.2 getting 110/119.. I want BEV 91w
Hi all,
I currently have a DN 1000.2 capable of 110/119/129. I am pulling in 110 and 119 because I dont have a HD receiver or TV.
I want to add a dish to get 91w on BEV. I dont need to get BEV 82 because it is mostly HD. I dont want to deal with switches or anything, I just want to plug in one LNB from another dish to my LNB in port on my 1000.2.
What LNB/Dish combo should I get to acomplish this?
I dont want a Dish 500 because I think they all have internal switching between the two LNBs and then Ill need switches, etc.
Thanks!

I just did this yesterday. I used a Dish 500 that I got from a neighbor. I used a DP twin LNB. A bit of overkill but it was free. No switches were involved. I simply connected one of the LNB's from the used 500 and ran a cable to the "in" port on my DP Plus 500.

You can use sigke 18" dish to do that.
Circular lnb(i.f:12.2~12.7Ghz / l.o:11.25Ghz).
Plug the cable to your dish1000.2 and Set the right port on your receiver and scan the channels.
Use it here to aim the new Dish www.dishpointer.com

you can do it with a DTV dish with one LNB, easier to find the sat as there's no need to skew.

i think you can plug in the signal lnb(DTV) dish to the dish1000.2 and not use a switch and another thing you still can scan 129 you will get a few channels thats not HD
82 got a few thats not HD to
but not really enuff to spend the money to get em

129 only has about 12 channels that are not HD and they are basically just repeats of 110/119 channels so nothing new. Also 129 has no guide. Getting the extra dish for 91 also gives you TV if DN is down and Bev is not.

Using either a Dave LNB or a DP twin what would my settings be? Is the "LNB In" port called Port 4? (119=1 110=2 129=3 LNB In=4?)
