Playback - Skip Feature

Is there any way to do like a 15/30/45 Second skip while playing back a recording?? I think this would be very helpful, but can't seem to find if that's possible.

when you are playing back a recording and the status bar in the bottom with the red bar in the box just rapidly push the left or right controls like you are turning up or down the volumn. with that status bar up if you were to push menu or exit that staus bar will disappear and then those controls will work the volumn
