SV 360 Elite Setup?
Hi Guys,
I just received a SV 360 Elite, But I have no clue on how to set one up. Do I need Bin files and all that stuff? I'm hoping someone can point me to the correct thread.
Thanks.

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
This isnt working to well for me, I dont know if its cause I have a different bin file or what. I cant get the bin from here yet, something to do with paypal can only send checks or something so I have to wait a week for it to clear. But anyways, I am able to find channels using the blind scan, but I cant view the channels, they say no service or scrambled.
Anyone ran into this problem?

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
So if the channels say no service or scrambled, does that mean I have a bad bin or a bad sat??

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
I have a DP plus 1000 dish by the way, I dont know if that means I am suppose to setup the dish differently. Sometimes I can connect to a channel if I leave it on that channel long enough.
*Also, I noticed I have 0 Quality, but I have a signal.

If you have 0 Quality then you won't get the channel.Maybe your dish is not setup properly or maybe your Antenna setting is wrong.
Btw you need to download the latest bin to be able to view those channel.

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
I have the latest bin, V0151P, but I still have 0 quality. If the change the elevation of the dish only signal strength changes, quality always remains at 0.

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
I'm using the same settings found here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/942-sv-3...step-step.html
*I get a better signal if I Lower the LNB Freq, but Quality always remains 0 no matter what I do

I have no idea, is that information written somewhere on the dish?

Re: SV 360 Elite Setup?
Does it say anything on the actual LNB itself? How many eyes does it have, how many coaxial connections does it accept?
If it is an older legacy LNB your settings will be different in your menu. And I am sure this is where your problems lie.

There are 3 Eyes, and I think only 1 coaxial connection. It came with my VIP622 from Dish network, I didn't set it up. But my Dish network still works just fine.
So do I have to disconnect the eyes to get a model number?
