From Ultra to Elite
I just bought the new Sonic View Elite and I got most of the channels I use to have but I'm missing a few channels. I use to have the Viewsat ultra which had a good amount of channels, I was comparing the channels from my veiwsat and I'm missing some hbo's, ppv's, gol tv, 853, and a few others just wondering what needs to be done to get these channels and more. Any info would be grealty appreciated.

Re: From Ultra to Elite
Plug back your ultra, go to your antenna settings and copy it.
Put everything back to your sonicview.

Re: From Ultra to Elite
It has also been reported that sometimes whole TP's or multiple channels on a TP do not get properly recorded when doing a Scan All. In these cases, some users have found success by using the information from the LyngSat site to determine which TP frequencies are carrying the channel(s), and then do a TP Scan on just those, one at a time.

Re: From Ultra to Elite
Yes I am using a DiSEqC. Plugged both cable from the satellite into the DiSEqC and then ran the one receiver output to the wall mount connector and then split the wire into each port 1 and 2.

Re: From Ultra to Elite
Did what was last recommended and it's still missing the same channels. What else can be done to help with this situation.

This is what happened to me. I did a sat scan and ended up missing about 3 transponders. I went to lyngsat and found the channels I was missing. Then I went to my 360, chose my sat, chose the transponder according to lyngsat, scanned TP, and those channels filled in.
