where do fixes come from??can you make your own - ABA DSS

to me FIXes - these bin numbers - are magical and one day someone just post them. but, where do they come from in the first place. A spy working for DishNet. Can you make your own? Say i wanted one that includes DishNets special Rugby sports pakage (31 channels of rugby normally $99 a month), Is that availible? If a person can make thier own bins then Why do I have to wait for someone to release a FIX. and what software do i need to make my own bin.

no you cannot first off you need the source code for the box and then you have to learn how to write c++ and it gets more involed after that the c++ is just to write most of the software you have to learn about timers and try and find the map calls that they change .. really they had got top coders in the world to do it for a few boxes over the last bit and they had a really had time adjusting (and that was with the source code) .. so i say no because they will never give you the code for a box it would be like giving you the copyrights to it and saying here its yours now..

No, you can't because if you could, sites like this AND FTA receiver sales sites would be broke in a week.

A great deal of the source code is buried 5 deep in the protective layers of the new G3 DN access card. The cards have been available for over six months in North America and over two years in Europe. Check this and any other FTA forum. Nowhere is there even a hint that the layers have been compromised without destroying the card. Don't hold your breath that there will be a breakthrough anytime soon.
