Bad communications..Actually No communications!
I'm getting p'eed off here. I've written to Viewsat Canada 3 times now asking whether they have an authorized dealer in Kamloops, British Columbia.
I have a good friend there who is interested in making some purchases but does not want to buy online. They want to have the option of going to the store if there is a problem
First time I emailed them was a month ago. Now 5 days ago and again tonight.
Each time I've gotten an auto reply promising to get back to me within 24 hrs.
I haven't had any luck looking online for authorized dealers there and have no idea what else to do.
Anyone have any ideas or knowledge of dealers there?

your friend may have to drive to a bigger city like Vancouver or Calgary... what ever is closer but it would be more convenient to just order online. your friend has nothing to worry about ordering online, as fta stb's are sold as a free to air box which is totally legal.
it's not until your friend decides to load third party software that he should start to worry about his purchase. if at all worried about it, then he should just subscribe to b3v.

Incredible Entertainment is in surrey. You might have to order online. In toronto there is an FTA store on every block it seems.

Thanks for all of the help guys. I guess the closest is a 7 hour drive to Vancouver area. These folks are in their mid 80's so it's not likely to happen.
The reason they didnt want to order online is because they want the option of heading back to the store if they had problems, not that they are concerned of legality or being ripped off.
Online may be their only choice unless perhaps they choose a different company for their receiver.
