We all know that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in August 1945 after explosion of atomic bombs.
However we know little about the progress made by the people of that land during the past 64 years.

This illustrates one county with a industrial policy and one without. Back when I was a small child. Made in Japan on a product, meant it was junk. Japanese govt targeted camera manufacture and we got Nikon and several others, then motorcycles, electronics all these got breaks and subsidy.

I think that hiroshima can not be compared to any place on earth. There are not many places in the us that are that newly built. Maybe the correct comparison is Las Vegas.
