Sv 360P Just In! - ABA DSS

Need help getting started. I've read the sticky on how too, but still a little confused. It doesn't really specify what to load and everything that I will need. I have the loader 1.1, factory bin,V0122P bin, and also have the syst files. Can anyone help with some directions that are a little more detailed? Thanks! The SV 360 is fresh out of the box.

do you have a usb stick. i never loaded mine via loader just thru front usb port via usb stick.

Just load the latest fix. That's all you should need. No fact ory file required, it comes loaded with one. Just follow the directions for loading file. Then set up your sats. Then scan them. Leav it on 239 WGN or a local Bev station. Let it Roll, although it may say no sig/scrambled, just leave it on one channel.
Took my 360 Elite out of box last week, had a cheap thumb drive from Radio Shack, formatted to Fat32 prior to loading the fix on it. Stick it in the thumb drive on front of rec. Go to PVR settings> UBS drives, load fix. It will reboot itself.
Alway use Remove Device Safely function in USB Menu before remove USB drive (thumb drive/USB HDD)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to do the initial clean sys setup first, then the new 122 bin. I though this had to be done prior to using 122 .

How do I format the usb before loading to it? I didn't do that, I just downloaded file and put it in a folder I created for my box.Do I not need to load the clean syst files first since it is new and never been loaded? I will be useing the usb drive by the way.

to format put in the usb on your computer it will load in the driver once it is done then open my computer and you will see the drive .. just right click and then go down to format then check mark quick format and start it will give you a warning click ok then it will format ok and you are done ..

load newest file on the usb and you are ready to go ...

Do I need to download the loader on the usb drive or not. I deleted everything from drive then formatted now what all do I need to have on it to load the latest fix to the box?

just do this hook up the reciever all the cables turn it on then once you have it on the tv take the usb stick that you formatted then put it in the computer .. now download the newest bin here is the link

once this is downloaded unzip it first ..!! then take the unzipped files and copy it to the usb stick

you can right click on the unzipped file then click cut then go to my computer you will see the usb drive open it up and in the blank space right click and left click on paste .. there now it is on the usb stick close all the windows then safely remove the usb stick and go over to the 360

I have the setup screen pulled up. Went to PVR-USB drives-pressed ok then it asked me front or back, when I chose front it went back to the background screen instead of letting me choose a file. I also noticed that the usb stick isn't lighting up when I plug it in like it does on the computer. Could this be a problem? It does the same thing wheather I use the front or back usb port.

Hi tomcat01. How are you? I just got my new SV360 Premier, too in addition to my other SV collections. It has been asked earlier in the thread, but nobody seems to address this critical step yet. Don't we have to load FIRST the clean system file v119, then SAT file before loading the latest fix BIN?
Please clarify.

I got mine(SV premier) and i just load the Clean system file v119 then the Latest Fix Bin via USB Flash drive.
