Re: Problem with dish500 setup

Change your LNB type in the setting to OCS-DP for both sats and define 119 to port 1 on diseq and 110 to port 2 on diseq. Put 97 on port 3 on diseq. Let us know...

Re: Problem with dish500 setup

Thank you for the quick reply
I tried using OCS-DP instead of single and get little over 100 channels on 119w and with single I get 254 chanells and with legasy A I get 304 channels but some good channels like science and few more are missing so I left it on single.

Re: Problem with dish500 setup

As I understend the working principle of legacy lnb's you have to chose lnb A or lnb B in Legacy switch option to switch betwen two lnb's , so I tried that with no result. I changed ports around on Diseqc with no luck.

Re: Problem with dish500 setup

You need to delete the first transponder off of 119. i did that and it showed me 119 everytime since.110 and 119 both start off with 12224 as the first tp. Remove 12224 from 119. Start with 12239 and then scan. Try that.

Re: Problem with dish500 setup

from the way i read your post you have 31" dish onport 1 and dish 500 with 1 cable going to port 3
if this is so you need to run a 2nd cable from dish500 to port 2 on switch the set up 119 on port 2 in your settings like you did 110

I don't have any more options to try
you say your running legacy lnbs.(meaning two) but you say "dn is connected on port 3"
this is incorrect.
you need to connect each lnb one for 119 and the other for 110 into ports 2 and 3,and then change the ports to match how you connected them outside.
so for example 119 will be port 2 and 110 will be port 3.doesn't really matter,as long as you match it in your antenna settings see what i mean?

ditch telling the unit your using an sw21 switch, cus you know your not.so leave that off.

your lnb types will all be single.
11250 tp freq for 119/110
and 10750 for g25
