119..yes...110..yes...91..doh!!

Setiing up my SV Premier using a diseq switch and an oval dish with a 4 lnb bracket. Tuned in 119/119 fine 80% + on both signal and quality.
But for 91 I am getting 80%+ for signal an 0% quality. Also it does not show that it is locked on 91, but when I hook a satellite meter up it chirps for all 3. Any ideas guys ? Here are my settings..

when that happens to me i just disconnect 91 port and switch it or hard booting your stb by the the switch

what is your dish setup..lnb type..have you tried scanning 91 just to see if you get any channels or not..

I tried hooking the 91 lnb directly to the receiver and still get 80% signal but no quality. I am using a dss lnb that worked for 91 in a previous setup with a diseq switch. What actually does it mean if you are getting signal but no quality ?

Are you using a dish 500? What size dish? If you are using a 500 dish, you need a seperate dish for 91, using sw 21 switches. When no quality shows, it means you are not picking up the sat.

I bet your transponder number is the problem.
I can't tell you what it should be...but I know 12224 is NOT right, as it is for 110.
As you know...12239 is correct for 119.

I suggest you try selecting other transponder numbers until you see the quality come up.

Skew is important on an oval dish...but if you say the signal meter is hot for all 3 birds, then maybe it's OK?

I would also try swapping the LNB from 110 to 91 just to be sure it is working right.

All LNBs are DSS (Digital Satellite System) the difference being either Legacy or Dish Pro (DP).

Another idea is to only set the dish for 91 & then scan the channels...then go back & hook up the others & see if they all work.

I had similar problem and I switched transponder number until found good s&q and bingo!

12311 will work for 91

12224 you can get Q on a elliptical.
I have it like yours(119/110/91)here and it works great 70%(91w).
Not the best one anyways.
Move your dish and try to get a better Q on 91.
