When I do my dish settings for echo 7, I need to change the TP freq to 12239, which gives me signal. I then scan the sat, and it populates my channels.

However, I can never save the TP at 12239 it always reverts back to 12224.

How do you get it to stay there??

Would this cause problems with epg population??

Same issue with the cnx mini i have found, as long as the channels downloaded and your able to get them...everything is fine.

For the purposes of scanning an entire satellite (normal procedure) this frequency number is only to help you to aim the dish by selecting which of the TP's to look for to activate the signal strength indicators. Once you have done that and started a scan of the ********** the scan procedure will scan through all of the possible frequencies anyways, saving off the ones it finds a signal on. No need for this number to be internally saved.

It should have no effect on the EPG.
