Echo 7 and Echo 8 Problems - Update Thread
Hi folks,
After making a few changes in dish settings, I am now able to get both echo 7 and echo 8 !!!!!!!!!! (I had to change the legacy switch to sw21..., instead of off)
So, I did a factory reset which cleared everything. I then applied the latest bin file, updated my user settings, then scanned echo 7, then echo 8.
I now have some duplicate channels, some missing channels, epg with some channels showing "No Information" and very few PPV's.
If anyone cab provide some assistance to these four issues, I would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Echo 7 and Echo 8 Problems - Update Thread
I'm using a DN 500 with a DPP Twin on a SV360 Elite. I have the latest bin 1.51 installed but just can't get the 119 & 110 to come in right. When I have picked up channels it has been mostly C stations and that is not my main preference.
Now I have switched over to my second dish and have 119 on by itself with a single DTV LNP. It scanned with a 69-71 S and 98 Q, picked up channels but after 20 minutes they are still all scrambled.
I know the frerq is 12250 and the TP should be 12224. With my single dish I have no switches and LNB is set to single.
The priority question for me is what should the LNB Type be set to when using the DPP Twin LNB and what should the Legacy switch be set to to get both 119 & 110 on the DN 500
Secondly why on the single LNB dish is it saying it is tuned to 119 but saying it is on and also scans 91?
Going nuts, any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Echo 7 and Echo 8 Problems - Update Thread
You are not hitting the right sat on your single dish.
For your D500 your LNB type should be ocs-dp.
And don't forget..there is a ECM going on today.
DN and BEV are down.
