Does V0119p still need to be Loaded on a new box?

Getting a new premier delivered in a week. I am wondering if you still need to load the V0119P cleanup file before loading the latest fix? Any other files I need to get this puppy humming? Any other glitches I need to know about?

i am not sure some times when the box comes out they put the newest factory file on it.. wait until it come if it does not have that file what would it hurt to put on 119.. if it does then just load new file and go

Hey Bull, go ahead and load the cleansing file, it can't hurt. Then load your newest bin file. Ed has a good post in the SV 360 Premier section that covers it step by step. Should take you about 10 minutes to be watching tv. I really like mine. Good luck

Wow. You guys are quick tonight. Gonna be about a week before it comes. This one is to keep the wife happy. She was always happy just watching on her TV with the Nfusion but now she wants to record. I was going to get her a CNX mini like I have but it might be hard to train her about the 2.1gb file limit and illegal character problems on record. Great box other than that though.

Thought about giving her the Neosat but that requires too much tinkering for her and support is too erratic or at least was. Been reading some good things about this box.
