Two Receivers and One Dish

If I have two receivers working off the same set of lnb's (each lnb has two ports) on the same dish, should the signal level and quality levels be the same for both receivers??

If they were different, what would be some of the causes??

Yes they should be the same.

the signal level could be different due to quality of each cable and or quality of connections. the quality level could be different if you are using two different brands of stb's. ex. i have a cw800 that gets quality of 88-90%...i hook up a viewsat ultra to the same line and get quality of 99-100%

By the way, both receivers are SV-360 Premiums.

I'am wondering if it may be a poorer quality of cable that is accounting for the difference.......

could be the cable...make sure the connectors are attached real good to the cable and all connections are tight

check all your connections and make sure they are tight and no corrosion
and the best cable is rg6
