Recording to usb?

Can I record from my sv360 premier to a usb stick? If so is there a sticky that has step by step instructions?

Not that hard, just insert ur USB key, than after you know the channel you want to records i.e: TSN, you would press the records button. Then after you are done recording press the Stop button and choose option 3 which would be TSN_000. Then the recording will stop and will appear on ur USB key as a .TRP file. Convert to MPEG to watch on your computer

i bought a 500 gig. external hard drive(my book) that just connects to reciever via usb and it works great.

Take a look at some of the stickies under the 360 Elite receiver heading regarding drives and PVR recording. There are more entries there than here, and the process is virtually identical to the Premier.
